Fall Brings on Change

We are pleased to announce that last Friday the Board of Directors at Shenandoah Valley Teen Challenge approved for the move of the program into a new campus that will accommodate the growth of the ministry for years to come. As of Oct 1st we will be moving into the former Sky Chalet Mountain Top Lodge. Over the past 6 months the Pastors and Directors of SVTC have been dillegently seeking a new place for the ministry. With a number of issues arising in our other campuses the biggest concern we were facing was space. Since last August all of our available beds filled up and things have not slowed down since. We made a determination that it was time to take the next step and move into a campus that could allow us to address our the space concerns and also allow the ministry to grow. This new property will allow for both to happen. The new campus is located on 14.889 acres on top of a mountain with breahtaking views around every corner. The new Campus includes the Dining which is 5,000 sq. ft., The A-Frame House at 2,800 sq.ft, The Wright House with is 2,500 Sq. Ft, The Ridge House which is 950 Sq. Ft, and the Old Shop which is 750 Sq. Ft. We are excited about the great possibilities that are going to arise with moving Teen Challenge into this new campus. During the first month we will experience double the expenses while we move out of our other locations and onto this campus. Any size gift will help at this time, even if you have considered getting some construction or landscaping, Tc is available for these projects as wel.
