Auto Donation Program
Vehicle Donation Program
Vehicle donations are tax-deductible with the proceeds benefiting the programs of Shenandoah Valley Teen Challenge
- We will pick up your vehicle free of charge anywhere in the Shenandoah Valley area, and provide a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.
- Once SVTC has received your signed vehicle title and completed donation agreement form we will arrange for your vehicle to be towed. (Form Available below)
- As a non-profit dealer, we will either send your vehicle to an auto auction or a salvage year, based on its condition. If your vehicle goes to auction: per federal guidelines, you can only claim the amount that your vehicle sells for and we will do our best to sell your vehicle for the highest amount we can.
- Once the vehicle sells, Teen Challenge will issue a receipt for your tax deduction purposes.
If you would like to donate your vehicle to SVTC, we only need a few things from you and we’ll do the rest:
- Your signed title. Please only fill out the bottom portion of your title and do not enter a date of sale. Please fill the information out correctly: scribbling or crossing through things could lengthen the vehicle donation process.
Please note: If you have any liens or loans listed on the title, we must receive the lien card from you or letter of release from the holding party. You must sign your title with your name as it appears on title. If you have changed your name, please send us a copy of the name change certificate.
- A completed donation agreement form. Once you complete this form, you can maul us (or drop off) the signed title and donation agreement form. Please fill out and mail us both pages of the Donation Agreement Form.
