Hope and Healing for Families Across the Shenandoah Valley.

Since 2000, we’ve walked with families through addiction — connecting them to the right programs, the right resources, and a community that understands.

What We Do

Faith-Based Recovery Support for Families

Family Referrals

When a family calls, we listen. Then we connect their loved one with the right Teen Challenge program — based on their needs, their location, and what’s going to give them the best chance. Free and confidential.

Resources & Content

Articles, guides, and the Rebuilding Life After Addiction podcast — reaching thousands of families every month through search and social media. Real information for people who are up at 2am looking for answers.

Community (Launching 2026)

Recovery groups, sober living, and Christ-centered community at 6043 Broad Street in Mt. Jackson. A place to stay connected after the program ends.

Our Story

We Understand This Road Because We’ve Walked It

Justin was a meth addict by 15. Used needles by 16. Tried the Army to get clean. It didn’t work. After a several-day binge, his family intervened. His parents sent him to Teen Challenge with the last few hundred dollars they had. He tried to leave the program 20 times.

Clean since 2005, Justin spent 13 years building SVTC’s residential program alongside his parents. Ashley has been part of the ministry since before there was a women’s program — managing donor relationships, communications, and operations while homeschooling four daughters.

After John Franich’s passing on Christmas morning 2025, Justin and Ashley carry the mission forward. Not as a memorial. As a calling.

Founded in 2000 by Rev. John Franich, who led this ministry for over two decades. Read About John’s Legacy →
