What We Do
Addiction Touches the Whole Family. We’re Here for All of It.
Do you or your loved one need help?
When you call SVTC, you’re not calling a hotline. You’re talking to someone who has personally walked through addiction and recovery. We listen to your situation, ask the right questions, and help you find the Teen Challenge or faith-based program that fits. No cost. No waitlist. No intake process. Just a conversation.

Who We Are
Meet Justin & Ashley Franich
Directors, Shenandoah Valley Adult Teen Challenge

SVTC was founded in 2000 by Rev. John Franich in a one-room office in the Shenandoah Valley. Today, his son Justin, a Teen Challenge graduate clean since 2005, leads the ministry alongside his wife Ashley.
When you call SVTC, you’re not calling a case manager. You’re talking to someone who has been where your loved one is and who has watched a family survive what yours is going through right now.
Rob Grant, SVTC’s Community Engagement Director, is also a Teen Challenge graduate. He takes family referral calls, mentors men in early recovery, and co-hosts the Rebuilding Life After Addiction podcast.
We are not a residential program. We don’t admit people. What we do is walk alongside families. In the crisis, through the program search, and after placement. As long as you need us.
