A Full House at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren

We had the privilege of leading a worship service at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren in Crimora, Virginia this morning. The pews were full, the worship was real, and the fellowship afterward over a meal together was exactly what church is supposed to look like.
Pleasant Hill is in Augusta County, between Waynesboro and Staunton along Route 340. They didn't just invite us to share. They fed us, sat with us, and made our guys feel like family. The church even posted about it on their own page, which says a lot about how the morning went.
Our guys played music, shared their testimonies, and we talked about the mission of Shenandoah Valley Teen Challenge. For the men in our program, standing up in front of a congregation and telling their story is part of the transformation. It's one thing to get clean. It's another thing to stand in front of a room full of people and say, "This is who I was. This is who Jesus is making me."
